Normalizing is to heat the steel parts to 30~80℃above the critical temperature for a period of time. Then the parts are taken out of the furnace and cooled in air. Since the cooling rate of normalizing is faster than that of annealing, the strength and hardness of normalized HARDOX 400 material hardness are higher than that of annealed HARDOX 400 material hardness, but the elimination of internal stress is not as good as annealing. The normalizing operation of HARDOX 400 material hardness is simple, the cost is low, the productivity is high, and it is widely used in actual production.
According to South Korea newsis reported on March 12, Korea iron and steel association statistics show that in February, South Korea's domestic HARDOX 400 material hardness steel exports to 2.44 million tons, down 2.4 percent year on year, after January down 3 percent, the second consecutive month of decline. In the past three years, South Korea's steel exports have decreased year by year, from 31.67 million tons in 2017 to 30.44 million tons in 2018 and 30.38 million tons in 2019. Instead, South Korea's HARDOX 400 material hardness steel imports increased last year. As China's economy slows and steel prices fall, Chinese steel is pouring into South Korea, analysts say.
The mechanical properties of hot rolled steel plate are far less than that of cold working and forging, but the HARDOX 400 material hardness, hot rolled steel plates have better toughness and ductility. Cold rolled steel plate has a certain degree of work hardening and toughness is low, but it can achieve a better yield ratio, and can be used for cold bending spring leaf and other parts. At the same time, because the yield point of cold rolled steel plate is close to the tensile strength, the danger is not foreseen in the use process, and accidents are prone to occur when the load exceeds the allowable load.
