Jspl announced plans to build a 2.5-million-ton-a-year hardess of NM500 steel plate steel plant in the ramga region of the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is reported that the company has a wire mill, a bar mill and a steel service center in the region. The new steel plant is expected to be put into operation in two to three years. The completion of the new hardess of NM500 steel plate steel plant will be conducive to its integration and elimination of backward production capacity.

Chemical composition of P235TR1 steel: C ≤ 0.16, Si ≤ 0.35, Mn ≤ 1.2, P ≤ 0.025, S ≤ 0.02, Cr ≤ 0.30, Mo ≤ 0.06, Ni ≤ 0.30, Cu ≤ 0.30, Nb ≤ 0.01, Ti ≤ 0.04, V ≤ 0.02. Chemical composition of P235TR1 steel: tensile strength 360-500 MPa, yield strength ≥ 235 MPa, elongation ≥ 25%. The main steel pipe grades under EN 10216-1 are P195TR1, P195TR2, P235TR1, P235TR2, P265TR1 and P265TR2.
