Under normal exposure to the atmosphere, wear resistance of NM400, bare steel forms a tight protective oxide film during the first few months of atmospheric corrosion. The allowable temperature of wear resistance of NM400, boiler steel is mainly determined by strength condition. Different steels have different mechanical properties and high temperature properties. Even for the same kind of steel, the tensile strength, yield strength and rupture strength vary greatly with the working temperature, and decrease with the increase of working temperature. In order to ensure the safety of wear resistance of NM400 work, the actual stress of wear resistance of NM400 under the working temperature should be less than the allowable stress determined by the tensile strength, yield limit and permanent strength of wear resistance of NM400 under the temperature.
