A131 EH36 steel is high strength marine grade hull structural steel. Its yield strength is no less than 355Mpa, tensile strength is 490-620 Mpa, and elongation is 19% min. NM500 carbon element content, EH36 steel strength is close to S355 steel. However, EH36 steel is shipbuilding steel, while S355 steel is carbon structural steel, and can not be certified by classification society. That is to say, S355 steel is not allowed to be used for ship building when there is certificate requirement. A131 EH36 steel is widely used to build ships working in low temperature water.

Main characteristics of 12Cr1MoV Steel: compared with 12CrMoV steel, 12Cr1MoV steel has higher oxidation resistance and thermal strength. The creep limit of 12Cr1MoV steel is very close to the endurance strength value, and it has high plasticity under the condition of endurance tension; the processability and weldability of 12Cr1MoV steel are good, but it needs to be preheated to 300 ℃ before welding, and stress removal treatment after welding. 12Cr1MoV steel is widely used in Superheater, header and main steam pipe of high pressure, ultra-high pressure and subcritical utility boiler.
