Weathering steel is made of ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of copper, nickel and other corrosion-resistant elements. Weathering steel has the characteristics of rust resistance, corrosion resistance, life extension, thinning and consumption reduction, labor saving and energy saving, etc..

Quenching and tempering (QT) is a double heat treatment process of quenching and high temperature tempering. In general, medium carbon steel and medium NM450 steel grade carbon alloy steel often need quenching and tempering treatment. Quenching and tempering can make iron and steel parts obtain a good combination of strength and toughness, with high strength, excellent toughness, plasticity, cutting performance, etc. Some NM450 steel grade alloy steel or low alloy steel must be quenched and tempered to obtain good comprehensive properties. These steels can also be called quenched and tempered steels.

We have lots of successful cases, for example in July 2015, we exported 5714 tons ASTM A36 mild steel plate to Peru. After receiving the plates and putting then into use, our customer spoke highly of the ASTM A36 mild steel plate quality. In addition, the customer also introduced us an Venezuela customer, who bought 933 tons A36 steel NM450 steel grade plate from us.
