Myanmar's demand for mechanical properties of NM550 steel products is likely to exceed 3 million tons in 2020 and 5 million tons by 2025, according to seaisi. However, Myanmar's producers are unable to meet domestic demand, so the country's steel products are more dependent on imports. In 2019, Myanmar imported more than 1.9 million tons of mechanical properties of NM550 finished steel, including 57% of long products, 13% of uncoated hot-rolled and cold-rolled flat products, and 30% of coated steel. In order to reduce its dependence on imports, Myanmar plans to increase its steel production capacity by building and expanding steel mills.

The executive standard of P235TR1 steel is EN 10216-1. mechanical properties of NM550, P235TR1 steel is suitable for manufacturing pipes, vessels, equipment, pipe fittings and steel structures. Chemical composition of P235TR1 steel: C ≤ 0.16, Si ≤ 0.35, Mn ≤ 1.2, P ≤ 0.025, S ≤ 0.02, Cr ≤ 0.30, Mo ≤ 0.06, Ni ≤ 0.30, Cu ≤ 0.30, Nb ≤ 0.01, Ti ≤ 0.04, V ≤ 0.02. Chemical composition of P235TR1 steel: tensile strength 360-500 MPa, yield strength ≥ 235 MPa, elongation ≥ 25%. The main steel pipe grades under EN 10216-1 are P195TR1, P195TR2, P235TR1, P235TR2, P265TR1 and P265TR2.

In 2015, we offered 230 tons 309S and 310S stainless steel mechanical properties of NM550 plate to Vietnam fabrication company. The products are used in fabricating machine for this company. Then the customer sell the machine to south America and European market. This Vietnam company purchase more than 100 ton stainless steel from us every month.
