The supply and demand of nm400 steel equivalent is basically balanced this year

Compared with the traditional seamless steel pipe, alloy seamless pipe has better performance in all aspects. Because of the addition of various metal elements in the manufacturing, the overall strength of the alloy seamless pipe is larger, stronger and durable, and the service performance and service life of the NM400 steel equivalent, alloy seamless pipe are improved. The alloy seamless pipe is the best choice especially for special environment and high pressure requirements. Because of its high material properties, alloy seamless pipe has good corrosion resistance. It is not easy to be corroded in some special environment, which reduces the cost of the project and has a longer service life.

The purpose of complete annealing of NM400 steel equivalent, wear-resistant plate is to improve the bad structure, such as coarse grain, widmanstatten structure (coarse ferrite with directional growth along with coarse grain) or banded structure caused by high temperature during hot forging, hot rolling, welding or casting of steel plate, so as to refine grain, improve mechanical properties, and reduce stress and hardness.

According to the new report of the World Steel Association (worldsteel), the world crude steel production for the 64 countries has reached to143.3 million tonnes (Mt) in February 2020, a 2.8% increase compared to February 2019. China’s NM400 steel equivalent, crude steel production for February 2020 was 74.8 Mt, an increase of 5.0% compared to February 2019. India produced 9.6 Mt of crude steel in February 2020, up 1.5% on February 2019. Japan produced 7.9 Mt of crude steel in February 2020, up 2.2% on February 2019.
