Meanwhile, the API 5L PSL2 steel has more strict requirement for P, S content than API 5L PSL1 steel, NM400 equivalent material. Therefore, API 5L PSL2 steel strength is higher than API 5L PSL1 steel strength. For example, API 5L X42 PSL2 yield strength is 317-524 MPa, tensile strength is 434-758 MPa. While API 5L X42 PSL1 yield strength is 290 MPa min. , tensile strength is 414 MPa min.our company supplied 2300 ton API 5L GrB ERW pipe to Petroleum company in 2016.
