element of hardox 400 equivalent grade astm
In the face of domestic and foreign steel situation, based on the advantages of production and inventory, we have established our own processing center, and our manufacturing includes different types. Steel element of HARDOX 400 surface treatment - such as steel pretreatment (shot peening and shop primer), steel galvanizing; steel structure processing - such as cutting, drilling, milling, turning, bending, welding, etc.

Hot-rolled steel sheet / cold-rolled steel sheet: Steel ingots or slabs are difficult to deform at normal temperature and difficult to process. They need to be heated to 1100 ° C to 1250 ° C for rolling. This element of HARDOX 400 rolling process is called hot rolling. Rolling at room temperature is generally understood as cold rolling. However, from the point of view of metallurgy, the boundary between hot rolling and cold rolling should be distinguished by the temperature of metal recrystallization, that is, rolling below the recrystallization temperature is cold rolling; Rolling above the recrystallization temperature is hot rolling.
The sulfur element (S element) comes from the ore and fuel coke of steelmaking. It is a harmful element in element of HARDOX 400 etc. steel. Sulfur exists in steel in the form of iron sulfide (FeS). FeS and Fe form a low melting point (985℃) compound. The hot working temperature of steel is generally above 1150 - 1200℃, so when the steel is hot working, the premature melting of FeS compound causes the workpiece to crack, which is called "hot brittleness". It reduces ductility and toughness of steel and causes cracks during forging and rolling. Sulfur is also detrimental to welding performance and reduces corrosion resistance.
